Sebastian

Veterinary Nurse

Sebastian’s journey into veterinary medicine began on his family’s farm in Colombia. Growing up surrounded by cows, horses, pigs, dogs and cats, he developed a natural affection for animals and an early calling to protect and care for them. This foundation led him to pursue a Bachelor of Veterinary Science in Colombia and he has been a dedicated professional in the industry since 2013.

Sebastian officially joined the BPS team in 2024, after first connecting with us during a "True Grit" team event—a testament to his energetic and team-oriented spirit. Like several of our talented staff, Sebastian is currently working towards his veterinary registration in Australia, bringing a high level of international experience and clinical skill to our nursing team in the meantime.

Away from the clinic, Sebastian is an avid sports fan who enjoys playing basketball and football. While he is settling into life in Australia, he often thinks of his two companions back home in Colombia: Duke, his British Bulldog and Miau, his cat.
