Senior Receptionist

Charmaine holds a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and began her nursing career at the age of 20. She worked in the field for five and a half years, including 18 months in emergency and critical care, as well as time in an equine practice. After travelling and living overseas, Charmaine gained experience across a range of industries, including early childhood education, finance and recruitment, before returning to the animal industry in 2019—something she describes as her first love.

Charmaine joined our team as Senior Receptionist in 2022 and was promoted to Assistant Practice Manager. Reflecting her dedication, leadership and passion for both client care and team support, she then stepped into the role of Practice Manager in early 2025. Outside of work, Charmaine is a busy mum to four children and cares for a lively household of pets, including her two Burmese cats, Willow and Winter and her Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Waffles. She is also a licensed wildlife carer, providing care and rehabilitation for young and injured possums. In her spare time, Charmaine enjoys playing softball, horse riding, camping and snorkelling on the QLD reefs with her family.
